Lorena Tonarelli
Lorena is a freelance healthcare journalist, medical writer and editor specialized in eldercare, age-related conditions, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, medical imaging, pharma and biotech, and human resources. She has more than seven years of experience in researching, writing and editing CEU and educational articles, features, news, case studies, and more for publications and websites targeted at nurses, CNAs, nurse managers and administrators, physicians, patients, radiologic technologists, pharma executives and sales managers, and the general public.

Lorena has a master’s degree in science – specializing in drug development, medical imaging (MRI, PET, CT), and neurodegenerative disorders – and a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in science. She has academic research experience, and has trained as a journalist.
She has written books on Alzheimer’s disease, swine and seasonal influenza, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, weight loss, tai chi, and caregiving.
