Lorena is a freelance healthcare journalist, medical writer and editor with more than eight years of experience in continuing education (CE) articles and educational articles, features, news, and more for publications and websites aimed at nurses and assistants (RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CNAs), nurse managers/administrators, physicians and other healthcare professionals, patients, family caregivers, and the general public.
She also works for medical, marketing and corporate communication agencies, producing case studies, clinical study reports, value dossiers, regulatory submission documents, research reviews and reports on KOL meetings, symposia and conferences for major pharmaceutical companies and leaders in medical technology.
Lorena has a master’s degree in science – specializing in drug development, medical imaging (MRI, PET, CT) and neurodegenerative disorders – and a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in science.
